The Pink & Blue Book
I believe in a process of learning where you do and understand things by yourself in order to remember and retain. Someone preaching to you what you should and shouldn't do rarely sticks by in the long run.
Most of my approaches towards a design solution are making the audience a part of the design; where they can learn by doing and arriving at a realisation for themselves.
This book does the same. It encourages the audience to act on their impulse and produce the result to convey the point across. The book has two covers. Traditionally pink for girls, and blue for boys. The content inside both is the same, thus proving my point, of how accustomed we are with associating pink with femininity and blue with masculinity.
The book cover requires you to tear apart a part of the front and back cover, to ‘redefine’ the whole pink-blue association.
